Peter Corrie

Managing Director

Peter has 37 years of experience within the building industry. With a trade background he has gained practical knowledge and skills through site work. Peter has attended numerous courses and obtained certifications relevant to the building industry. Since 1995 he has worked on various projects in all states of Australia. Peter has worked in a diverse range of projects including large scale housing, retail & franchise development, medium rise developments, nursing homes, retirement homes, remote defense projects, education & institutional projects.

Wendy Knight

Financial Director

Wendy has 22 years experience in the building industry. She originally completed her education and disploma at Pride Business College and her skills included business commerce, touch typing and shorthand. Her past employment background comprises insurance, law and financial planning.

Wendy oversees all payroll, contractor and supplier payments along with all financial matters within Steventons Construction Group.

Raymond de Weerd

Business Development Manager

Ray has been involved in the Australian housing and land development industry for more than 35 years, and has held senior positions in some of Australia’s largest building and development companies such as; AV Jennings, Simonds Homes and Devine Limited.

Ray has owned a number of companies that developed land subdivisions, built integrated medium density developments, and has managed the sales of over 10,000 homes through online marketing and display home networks in Melbourne, Sydney, and the regional areas of Victoria and New South Wales.

Ray has a full understanding of the housing industry and has in-depth knowledge of the processes involved in the marketing, sales, client financing and administration of large volumes of contract housing.

Ray was the founder of Boutique Homes which is well known for its leading home designs. Needless to say that he has honed his skills in the Housing Industry over the years which will now enable Steventons Construction Group to expand into the area of New Home Sales and Project acquisitions.

David Start

General Manager

David joined Steventon Constructions at the beginning of 2018. David will be responsible for the project procurement, contract administration and site management. David is fully conversant with modern value engineering best practices, with a focus on ensuring that clients realise value for money. He is experienced with the latest conditions of contract, programming techniques and the key project management metrics of Time, Cost, Quality and Safety.

In his 16 years in construction in South Australia David has gained an insider’s knowledge of the industry, forming close relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients to source the best workforce and supply jobs as needed.

By maintaining these strong relationships within the industry and utilising his proven experience in project costing and administration, ranging from the concept stage to construction completion through a variety of contract delivery methods.
